A year? Japan?

Hard to believe it's been a whole year since we arrived. And it's official - we're moving to a new town, to new jobs, and a new home on March 1st. Our apartment size is about to be doubled, and our workload is about to be halved. They say the Year of the Fire Pig brings turbulence. We're about to put that to the test.

Our new home:

...and a quick pan of our new (smaller) town. Definitely a university town. Reminds me of Sackville.

AND! We had a very quick trip to Fukuoka, Japan just ahead of the Lunar New Year break. The following is a very thrown-together montage, with clips from our ferry ride, the Fukuoka Folk History Museum, the noodle stalls this town's known for, some typically-wacky Japanese games, and some music from an early 80s Japanese punk band. Whee!
